Welcome to Wretched YouTube Videos Wiki! This wiki is about bad YouTube videos and wretched moments in YouTube history. It was founded on January 2, 2021 by SlashcraftGaming2004 (at the time known as DatCoolRedstoneGuy Est. 2004) and currently has 85 articles.

Rules and guidelines

The main headers for the wiki are "Why It/They Suck(s)" and "Redeeming Qualities." "Why It Flopped" is for videos that were not successful at getting popular, and "Bad Qualities" and "Good Qualities" are for average videos.
Vandalism is not tolerated. Expect a 1-month, 2-month, 6-month ban or higher if you do so.
Overused terms like "Let that sink in" are forbidden, as well as the fact that the video spawned memes in the "Redeeming Qualities" section.
Refrain from using profanity on pages unless it is used in a quote or is basically important. Using profanity in the comments is fine as long as it is not used to offend others.
Reasons for deleted comments are harassment of others and malicious propaganda.
Link to the video in the infobox via the "Videos=" column. If the video is deleted, link to an archive in the infobox title and add an image instead.
You can use alternate accounts as long as you didn't achieve great notoriety (ex. for being a vandal). You cannot use alts for:
1. Avoiding blocks, warnings, or any consequences
2. Impersonating others
3. Trolling and vandalism
4. Unnecessary use
It is highly recommended you use proper grammar while creating a page. If you think a page has poor grammar, do not complain about it. Either fix them by yourself or ask an admin (if a page is protected or you don't know what is wrong).
When you are finished with a sandbox page, move it to the namespace with the "rename" option, do not copypaste it and paste the content in a new page. In addition to this, you are not allowed to prepare two pages in a sandbox.

Forbidden pages

Anything on Amazing YouTubers Wiki - Self-explanatory.
YouTubers and YouTube channels - Likely to cause drama if they find out about their pages, and potentially a content policy violation.
- People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) - Not only does it apply to the rule above, it is already on Horrible Companies Wiki, and is not really related enough to YouTube.
- Autism Speaks - Same reason as PETA, though it is currently not on HCW.
Vyond videos and anything related to Vyond - Belongs on Trashy Vyond Videos Wiki.
Gacha videos and anything related to Gacha - Belongs on Abysmal Gacha YouTube and TikToks Videos Wiki.
Any nursery rhyme baby videos - They are made for a niche audience and they are easy to make and churn out as a content farm.
Anything related to FuturisticHub - Due to Miraheze staff's requests.
Anything related to shows (web series, webisodes, etc.) - Belongs on Terrible Shows & Episodes Wiki.
- Elsagate - Already on Terrible Shows & Episodes Wiki since it is mainly related to cartoons and also had an effect on the entire Internet and not just YouTube (hence why it was formerly on RWW until it was closed).
- Any SML videos - Belong on Terrible SML Videos Wiki.
